Long Term Nursing Care
Prairie Ridge offers Long-term cares services and support to individuals who require ongoing assistance with daily living activities due to a chronic illness, disability, or advanced age. We ensure that residents receive the necessary medical attention, personal care, and social engagement that they need in order to live a rich and fulling life.
Long-term care at Prairie Ridge includes a range of services, such as help with bathing, dressing, and grooming, eating, ambulation and transfer assistance, medication management, and wound care. Additionally, we provide opportunities for social interaction and recreation, such as group activities, outings, and entertainment.
Long-term care can be a valuable option for individuals who require round-the-clock care and support, as well as for their families who may not have the resources or ability to provide the necessary level of care at home. Long term care is typically covered by Medicaid to eligible individuals and can also be paid for with private funds. Medicare does not cover long term nursing care.
